Tequila is arguably the best liquor on the planet.
On Monday, July 24, it's the only alcohol you should be drinking. National Tequila Day can be celebrated all around the world.
Made from the blue agave plant, you may have heard tequila referred to as the 'champagne of Mexico.'
Whether you're taking a shot, just sipping or mixing up a delicious margarita, Mexico is the best place to enjoy tequila. A smooth and sweet taste, Patrón is handmade in small batches. This premium tequila is a very popular brand (thanks in part to clever advertising and pop culture) with several different varieties available-Patrón Silver is my favorite.
Mix it up for a margarita, pour over ice and add a few limes, or try something new with the Patrón Green Matcha cocktail.
Casamigos
The taste of this tequila is worth a billion dollars.
George Clooney founded this brand with friends Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman and recently sold the company for $1 Billion.
So, naturally, you have to try the tequila valued at that much. Originally created just for the founders and their friends, this smooth tasting spirit went public in 2013 and is now considered one of the best in the world.
