Go ahead and get your loved one a piece of jewelry, some tasty chocolate, or a dozen roses for Valentine's Day, but a great meal in a romantic restaurant is still one of the most romantic gestures. If you're in New York City for this lover's holiday, consider a meal at any one of the five most romantic restaurants in Manhattan.

Le Bernardin

That means the food is amazing and the service stellar, but what makes this restaurant romantic is its ambiance. With its silver touches and oversized water mural, the restaurant is the perfect atmosphere for some good food and I Love You's.
Gramercy Tavern
Don't let the name fool you. It says tavern, but this is one of the best restaurants in New York City, with its contemporary American cuisine and warm hospitality.
You can eat in the more casual tavern, of course, but there's also a more formal dining room, which is decorated with murals from artist Robert Kushner and floral arrangements from Roberta Bendavid. Enjoy from such delicious dishes as Grilled Shrimp and Pork Dumplings, Pork Loin, Tortiglioni, Sea Bass, Duck Andouille, or Grilled Lamb.
