Travel Leaders Network, the largest network of travel agents in North America, is empowering women through its “Women of Travel Leaders Network,” a community dedicated to supporting women in the industry.
The community launched its first webinar-style session in October 2023, with Vicki Freed, SVP of Sales & Trade Support & Service for Royal Caribbean, as the guest speaker. The second session, held in January, featured Tammy Routh, SVP of Global Sales for Marriott International, as a guest speaker.
The next session, held on April 4, will feature Kristin Karst, AmaWaterways’ Co-Owner and Executive Vice President.
To date, an average of 800 travel advisors attended the virtual sessions. TLN’s annual conference, EDGE 2024, will offer community-specific programming, too.
“Women of Travel Leaders Network is a supportive and empowering community of like-hearted travel professionals,” said Melissa Dobmeier, TLN’s Vice President of Experience Marketing, who heads up the community.
“Here, TLN members can gain insights that will help them inspire change, build new relationships, initiate meaningful conversations and cheer each other on to achieve both personal and professional goals," Dobmeier continued. "It’s an encouraging space to learn and grow. Whether you are a woman, or support women, we welcome all TLN members to become part of this important initiative.”
