Mar, the luxury integrated resort development in Nassau
that overlooks world-famous Cable Beach, is joining forces with the leading fantasy
football platform, ESPN
Fantasy Football, to host the inaugural ESPN Fantasy Football Ultimate
Draft Weekend. Scheduled from August 22-25, this event aims to offer a broad assortment
of curated luxury experiences tailored for fantasy football enthusiasts,
including insights and analysis from ESPN Fantasy Football experts, and an
exciting Draft Day.

weekend."
Notable ESPN
Fantasy Football experts, including Field Yates, Stephania Bell, Mike Clay, and
Daniel Dopp, will be present at the event. Participants will have the chance to
interact with these experts, participate in a Q&A session, and receive
detailed draft analysis leading up to the Live Draft on the afternoon of Saturday,
August 24.

draft is one of the best days of the year, bringing everyone together to choose
their teams and play out league traditions. Partnering with Baha Mar to provide
a world-class destination draft highlights the unique ways that ESPN continues
to provide fans with the best possible Fantasy experience."
The Pre-Draft
activities on Friday, August 23, will feature a competitive "Draft
Combine" to decide the league draft order. Activities will include beach
races, slide races, a football skills competition and more. Participants can
also enjoy a day of golf at Baha Mar's Jack Nicklaus Signature Royal Blue golf
course, miniature golf at Mini Blue, a basketball combine, a blackjack
tournament, or a day of relaxation by the pool or out on Cable Beach. The
evening will wrap up with a Draft Prep Cocktail Reception, during which the
attending ESPN Fantasy Football experts will offer a detailed explanation of
draft strategies for the 2024-25 season.
On Saturday,
August 24, the final draft prep session, the "2-Minute Drill," will
prepare leagues for the Live Draft at 4:00 p.m., taking place in the Baha Mar
Convention Grand Ballroom. The scintillating weekend will conclude with a Draft
Celebration Party at Marcus at Baha Mar Fish + Chop House.
The Draft Weekend will
be managed by bdG Sports, a firm that brings over than 20 NCAA Division I
basketball teams to Baha Mar each November for the Baha Mar Hoops tournaments, as
well as owning and operating a pair of Korn Ferry Tour professional golf
tournaments in The Bahamas: the Great Exuma Classic and the Great Abaco
Classic.
