Travelers heading to Disney will be able to enjoy a new bar and lounge inspired by the Beauty and the Beast story at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa later this year.
According to WTSP.com, the bar and lounge were formerly known as Mizner's Lounge and Commander Porter's, but will now be transformed into a fairy tale area featuring four spaces inspired by Beauty and the Beast.
The signature bar will boast a gold chandelier reminiscent of Belle's flowing ball gown and the Beast's magical rose. In the formal library, guests will enjoy classical baroque designs and French furnishings inspired by Belle.
The new area will also feature a garden room themed after the forest surrounding Beast's castle and an outdoor patio area meant to evoke the romance of Beast's garden terrace. An opening date for the new bar and lounge will be announced in the coming weeks.
In February, Disney officials announced a new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique location would open this summer at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa located on the banks of the Seven Seas Lagoon.
