Marriott Rewards members will be able to choose how they want to earn bonus points this fall.
This week, the Bethesda, Maryland-based hotel company announced the "Choose Your Path" MegaBonus promotion. Beginning Sept. 1, members who register for the promotion will be able to select from two different earning options.
Option 1 will allow members to earn 10,000 bonus points for every 10 nights. Members who choose this path can earn up to 50,000 bonus points.
Option 2 requires members to stay at least twice to earn 5,000 bonus points after the second stay. However, members who choose this route can only earn a maximum of 5,000 bonus points. What's more, a stay is defined as consecutive nights spent at the same hotel.

Members can register between Sept. 1 and Dec. 15 and earn between Sept. 15 and January 15, 2017.
Registered members will also have a handful of brands to choose from. After all, participating Marriott brands include JW Marriott, EDITION, Autograph Collection Hotels, Renaissance Hotels, AC Hotels by Marriott, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Gaylord Hotels, Courtyard by Marriott, SpringHill Suites by Marriott, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott, TownePlace Suites by Marriott, Moxy and Marriott Vacation Club.
