Hyatt Announces Growth Across the Americas

With milestone openings and new guest experiences across Park Hyatt, Alila and the Unbound Collection by Hyatt, the hotel’s luxury collection has gained momentum across the Americas led by the expansion of the brand’s portfolio in Mexico.

“Across the Americas, our portfolio is growing with those principles in mind: from the Park Hyatt brand’s next chapter in Mexico to the Alila brand’s expansion in the Riviera Maya earlier this year, to the independent character of the beautifully individual hotels in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. Our focus is to grow thoughtfully and give travelers more choice while ensuring each hotel has a clear point of view and highly personal service at its center.”

These openings and brand milestone reflect Hyatt’s considered approach to luxury growth, expanding its reach while giving each brand and property a separate point of view.

Park Hyatt in Mexico

Park Hyatt Cabo del Sol opened in Baja California Sur in December 2025 as the brand’s first Mexican hotel.

Park Hyatt Riviera Maya will be the world’s first all-inclusive Park Hyatt hotel located on a secluded stretch of Mexico’s Caribbean coastline.

Park Hyatt Mexico City Polanco, located on Campos Eliseos will welcome its first guests in spring 2027.

The Unbound Collection

The Clayfield, a wine-country retreat in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario.

Impression Isla Mujeres will transition into The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, an adults-only, all-inclusive resort. The property along with The Georgian Hotel La Compañía Antiguo are among the properties set to offer an enriched experience program.

The Alila Portfolio

Alila Ventana Big Sur, Alila Napa Valley and Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas and Alila Mayakoba represent the expanded portfolio in the Americas. Beginning October 1, the three California properties will join Erewhon’s Member Lifestyle Collective, featuring wellbeing and intentional living.
