The Grand Hyatt brand will debut in Cancun, Mexico, this December, when the Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort officially opens as an all-inclusive resort.
The premium resort experience will offer a waterfront stay with marina access, proximity to a world-class golf course, and more within the private, gated development of Puerto Cancun, just 25 minutes from the international airport.
Owned by Grupo Diestra, the Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort will boast 500 rooms, including 47 suites, all with private terraces and ocean or marina views. Select suites will also provide private pools, while guests who book Grand Club rooms will enjoy access to the Grand Club private lounge.

Guests will also enjoy a wide variety of dining experiences, with 14 food and beverage outlets, including Quattro, a northern Italian-style restaurant; Bristrot Cigalette, a French restaurant spearheaded by chef Thierry Blouet; and Kaab, which offers international breakfast, buffet and lunch options.
“Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort will offer guests the opportunity to experience the destination through a fully all-inclusive experience defined by best-in-class accommodations and exceptional hospitality,” said Omar Vázquez, General Manager, Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort.
“Guests can immerse themselves in Puerto Cancun, with its vibrant marina, white-sand beaches and privileged location, while enjoying beautifully designed rooms and suites alongside the culinary, wellness and entertainment experiences they expect from a Hyatt resort,” continued Vázquez. “Every detail will be thoughtfully curated through the Grand Hyatt lens and commitment to creating elevated stays that feel both effortless and unforgettable.”
The resort will offer opportunities for those seeking both relaxation and high-energy experiences, from its Ritua Sanctuary Spa, where guests can enjoy a traditional temazcal, to its nine multi-level outdoor pools and private Beach Club, where guests can enjoy included watersports. Water lovers can also arrange yachting and sailing experiences from the nearby marina, as well as cenote or coral reef excursions.
Children are welcome at the resort, which has a dedicated kids club.
The Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort is also a great location to host events and celebrations, with around 30,000 square feet of flexible indoor event space, plus additional terraces, beach venues and outdoor areas.
