Marriott International announced an agreement with Townhouse
Hotels to add eight properties and over 700 rooms to its portfolio in the
Netherlands.
Six properties will join Series by Marriott in the brand’s
introduction to the Dutch market while two hotels will be affiliated with
Tribute Portfolio. The agreement includes a collection of urban hotels across
five Dutch cities, marking Marriott’s entry into Maastricht and Eindhoven. As
of Q2, 2026, Marriott’s Portfolio in the Netherlands encompasses over 30 properties
across 12 brands.
“This agreement represents a significant milestone for Marriott
International in the Netherlands, bringing eight distinctive hotels into
our portfolio and introducing Series by Marriott to the Dutch market,” said
Jerome Briet, Chief Development Officer, Europe, Middle East & Africa,
Marriott International in a statement.
He added, “These projects offer a mix of independent
hospitality experiences across sought-after
destinations, while also enabling our entry into Maastricht and Eindhoven.
Together with Townhouse Hotels, we look forward to providing guests with even
more compelling travel experiences across the Netherlands.”
Series by Marriott Portfolio Hotels
