When it comes to Jamaican all-inclusive resorts, outstanding facilities, amenities and services are required to stand out from the crowd. Hyatt's adjacent Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara resorts combine each of these elements to offer vacationers a true jewel among Montego Bay's picturesque properties.
Built to incorporate the former Ritz Carlton Rose Hall hotel, the new side-by-side complex expands significantly over the former property and exemplifies the maturation of the all-inclusive resort format.
The upscale property is feature-rich, with multiple food, entertainment and activity options, in complete contrast to the budget-driven model previously associated with the all-inclusive segment. Moreover, the resort simply looks great, with contemporary white buildings overlooking a magnificent stretch of white sand beach and blue water.
The 234-room Zilara is an adults-only wing positioned on one side of the central building, while 387-room Hyatt Ziva, which accommodates families, is located on the other side. Every room and suite offers a full view.
The Hyatt Ziva offers 387 suites including 43 premium swim-up suites with oversized terraces. The suites are available with garden and ocean views. Hyatt Zilara offers 234 guest suites including 32 swim-up suites. Each suite also features a furnished balcony or terrace including a hammock. All accommodations offer complimentary Wi-Fi access and 24-hour room service.
Combined, the Hyatt Ziva and Zilara properties offer 14 restaurants and six bars. The eateries include a Brazilian Steak House offering Churrasco-style cuisine; each of of the resorts' à la carte and buffet restaurants feature menus designed by an international culinary team.
Through the resorts' Big Day Preview program, wedding couples can preview the resort and receive a $500 credit toward the wedding of their choice. The package enables up to two guests to enjoy two nights at the resort on a special wedding planning visit for only $500. If the couple chooses the resort for their wedding, the $500 cost is applied to their wedding.
