For years, Srin Madipalli, who loves to travel and was born with a disorder called spinal muscular atrophy, struggled with the logistics of planning a vacation, CNN reported.
The genetic condition confines the former London lawyer to a wheelchair, making travel difficult but not impossible.
Madipalli told CNN that he would spend days looking for an adapted car in South Africa or a hotel in Boston while planning trips.

Madipalli and his business partner, Martyn Sibley, who also has spinal muscular atrophy, launched a travel website for disabled travelers in June 2015, according to CNN. It's called Accomable, and it is designed to help disabled travelers find the accommodations they need around the world.
The website, which began with about 30 properties in June, now has more than 400, CNN said.

Sibley recently left the company, but Madipalli told CNN he plans to expand the business to help people find accessible cars, medical equipment and disability insurance providers.
"What we're trying to do is create the same experience for a disabled person booking travel as an everyday person would have," Madipalli told CNN. "I want our users to have a wide range of genuine choices and be able to build any kind of travel experience they want, irrespective of their background or physical ability."
