The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) announced on
Monday that Collette has been added as a Global Member.
Collette is the longest-running tour operator in North
America and now offers more than 170 tours across all seven continents and five
distinct travel styles, including small-group touring and river cruises.
“Collette joins WTTC at a time when travelers are seeking
more purposeful and enriching experiences,” WTTC President & CEO Gloria
Guevara said. “Their long-standing commitment to customer satisfaction,
community engagement, and responsible tourism reflects the values that are
shaping the future of Travel & Tourism.”
“As a trusted global tour operator, Collette brings valuable
insight into how we can continue to put travelers and destinations at the heart
of sustainable growth,” Guevara continued.
The family-owned business’s commitment to integrity,
flexible tour pacing, and a comprehensive travel protection plan makes it the
perfect addition to the WTTC, which is looking to strengthen its network of
leading organizations supporting the travel and tourism industries.
By joining as a Global Member, Collette will contribute to
WTTC’s evidence-based programs, policy initiatives, and strategic dialogues,
supporting efforts to enhance long-term resilience and ensure the sector
continues to deliver economic and social value for travelers, businesses, and
communities worldwide.
“The WTTC brings together leaders who are shaping what
travel looks like next, something I truly value,” Collette President & CEO Jaclyn
Leibl-Cote said. “Joining this council allows me to help ensure the traveler
experience — and the communities we visit — remain at the center of our
industry’s growth.”
