Passengers on a WestJet flight from Toronto to Edmonton, Canada, helped a flight attendant restrain a man who became unruly, thestar.com reported.
The Canadian news website did not say when the incident occurred, but CTV News said it happened Tuesday night.
Passenger Steven Kelley told the Star that the man kept walking up to the flight attendant and asking to get off the plane during the four-hour flight.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police told the Star on Wednesday that they arrested a 20-year-old man after he caused a disturbance on a flight. Police are now investigating the incident.

Kelly told the Star that the flight attendant asked for help so he jumped up and grabbed the man.
"We ziptied him, and they brought him to the back of the plane, where they held him for about a half hour or so until we landed," Kelly told the news site.
Kelly told the Star that the man was calling other passengers "nonbelievers" throughout the flight, saying if there were any believers that they should kill him.

"I don't honestly know if he was trying to open the door," Kelly told the Star. "He definitely was moving towards the door; he was only a few feet away from it."
WestJet confirmed to the news site that there was an incident "involving an unruly individual who was removed by RCMP at the request of the crew." The airline refused to comment further.
