Allianz Partners USA has announced that it has added three directors to support its rapidly growing client support team. Bernie Verwiel has joined the company as district director for the Midwest and Paul Corrigan has joined as district director for the Southeast.
Verwiel and Corrigan are travel industry veterans and support the company's retail channel travel advisor partners. Brian Albano has also joined the company as a director, managing strategic partnerships with e-commerce partners and developing future partners.
Paul Corrigan is a twenty-year veteran of the travel industry representing a number of well-known travel brands including Collette Tours, Royal Caribbean, Delta Vacations and AAA. He was a regional business development director for Allianz Partners for a decade beginning in 2002. Prior to rejoining the company, he served as a business development manager for Rocky Mountaineer. He has managed sales teams and national accounts and developed innovative approaches to help drive the success of travel advisor partners. He resides in Daytona Beach, FL.
Bernie Verwiel is a seasoned sales and marketing executive with extensive experience in a variety of account development roles. Prior to joining Allianz Partners, he was a senior manager of partner relations at Covac Global, where he onboarded travel agency partners for medical/pandemic/security evacuation programs and facilitated membership sales. He is a longtime resident of the Chicago area and sometimes leads tours that highlight the rich history of the Windy City.
Brian Albano has 20 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry and has led partnership and business development teams at United Airlines, Orbitz, Carlson Wagonlit Travel and others. He most recently served as director of global supplier relations at CCRA Travel Commerce Network. He is a former Californian and currently is based in the Syracuse, NY area.
