Collette Vacations hired Wayne Griffith as online manager in the company's marketing department. Based at Collette's headquarters in Pawtucket, R.I., he will oversee Collette's website including the development and execution of online marketing strategies. In addition, Griffith's responsibilities will include the introduction of new Web 2.0 techniques to be able to include more things like broadband video. Griffith's prior experience includes serving as search marketing manager for Commission Junction/Value Click, a global leader in affiliate marketing and managed search, based in Westborough, Mass.; and marketing director for Karmaloop, an online retailer of street gear culture, based in Boston, where he was responsible for print, online, partnership marketing and public relations strategies to increase frequency, reach and voice share.
Griffith's achievement highlights include developing strategies for campaigns that have received numerous industry awards including a Grand Effie, a Clio and Cannes/Cyber. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University, Graduate School of Business in New York. Griffith serves on the board of directors of B.O.Y., a manufacturer of custom-designed T-shirts; and is a corporate advisory board member for Click Link.
