For lovers of the ultimate Jamaica beach vacation, fun times are on the horizon, with news of Sandals’ transformation of its three fames resorts on the island: Sandals Montego Bay, Sandals Caribbean Cay, and Sandals South Coast. Sandals South Coast will be returning in November, with the other two properties coming back in December, so now’s the time to book your vacation! Here’s a quick look at the changes.

The brand’s flagship, Sandals Montego Bay, has a main pool that has been completely redesigned and serves as the heart of the property. The 255 rooms and suites even include some with swim-up accommodations. Restaurants are getting a makeover, too, with a waterfront setting for guest-favorite Buccan and Scrimshaw, a seafood restaurant that features wraparound ocean views and a refined coastal dining experience—a first for Jamaica.

Guests can also indulge in the Caribbean’s first-ever swim-up bar, part of Parisol Beach Club, where original bricks, carved with decades of guest names, have been preserved. And Bay Roc Rum Club is a signature rum experience with hand-painted murals, memorabilia, and plenty of creative cocktails.

Over at Sandals Caribbean Cay (formerly known as Sandals Royal Caribbean), you’ll find a fresh identity, starting in the magnificent open-air lobby, with lovely views of both the main pool and the Caribbean Sea beyond. From a gastronomic perspective, guests will enjoy Suppa, a homegrown supper-style restaurant, harkening back to the local tradition of gathering around the table for Sunday dinner. Suppa features Jamaican comfort food, designed for sharing. Keynote Rum Bar serves as a cozy spot for premium Caribbean rums, or Heart & Sol is a lighter option, with juices, sandwiches, and nourishing bowls.

Sandals Caribbean Cay is expanding, with 84 new rooms, bringing the total to 291 rooms and suites. Guests can choose the signature SkyPool Suites, which overlook the ocean, new Swim-up Suites, and coming next Summer, exciting new Oceanview Butler Suites.

Lastly, the 380-room Sandals South Coast is surrounded by a beautiful 500-acre nature preserve, providing seclusion and a natural connection unlike any other. The changes include additional lush tropical greenery and inviting lounge areas, including the stunning pool area, which seems to blend into the natural environment. Here, the popular Overwater Butler Villas are back, but with refreshed interiors that are inspired by the Caribbean. And there is the brand's first-ever Beachfront Club Two Queen Junior Suites, suitable for groups traveling together or inter-generational travel.
