Comedian Rachel Dratch to Headline Uniworld's First-Ever Women-Only Cruise

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is bringing comedian Rachel Dratch onboard for its first-ever women-only sailing.

Dratch, an award-winning actor and author best known for her tenure on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” will headline the voyage, which departs August 24. She’ll perform a special 45-minute comedy set and host a Q&A session with guests sailing on the S.S. Catherine through the heart of France.

“This cruise is all about bringing women together to share new experiences, create friendships and enjoy plenty of laughter along the way,” says Ellen Bettridge, president and chief executive officer of Uniworld Boutique River Cruises. “Rachel is the perfect fit for what promises to be an unforgettable trip, and I’m looking forward to being onboard to host her and all of our guests on this sailing.”

Guests who join the sailing through Burgundy and Provence can also enjoy special shore excursions, including a candlelight concert in Lyon and a trip to the ancient Roman aqueduct of Nîmes at night for a light show.
