CLEAR unveiled a partnership with Samsung Electronics America to launch Samsung ID with CLEAR, a digital ID linked to U.S. passport information and verified by CLEAR.
The partnership enables travelers to confirm their identity at over 250 TSA checkpoints using their phone through Samsung Wallet, eliminating the need to present a physical ID.
“Now, with the integration, U.S. passport holders can easily create and securely store a TSA-approved digital ID in Samsung Wallet or domestic travel and age verification at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, with additional sporting arenas to come,” CLEAR said.
By eliminating the need to find or present a physical ID, the Samsung ID with CLEAR speeds up the travel process, creating a more seamless experience.
At airport security checkpoints, travelers can verify their identity by tapping Samsung ID with CLEAR on their phone or presenting it via QR code.
