Princess Cruises is expanding its premium Sanctuary Collection experience to five more Royal Class ships as part of a broader fleet modernization effort.
The resort-style, ship-within-a-ship offering—previously available only on Sun Princess and Star Princess—will be added to Royal Princess, Discovery Princess, Enchanted Princess, Regal Princess and Sky Princess beginning with select sailings in 2027.
The expansion marks the first phase of a multi-year initiative to enhance the guest experience across the fleet. Sanctuary Collection includes select suites and staterooms with access to private onboard spaces, exclusive dining venues, dedicated service and premium amenities.
"The Sanctuary Collection has quickly become one of the most distinctive and desirable ways to experience Princess," says Gus Antorcha, president of Princess Cruises. "Expanding Sanctuary Collection across five additional Royal Class ships allows more guests to enjoy the privacy, personalized service and premium amenities they would expect from an intimate luxury resort, while still having the destinations, entertainment and choices of a Princess cruise just steps away."
The expanded experience will introduce a private Sanctuary Club with lounge areas, a dedicated pool, upgraded loungers and optional shaded cabanas. Guests will also have access to the Sanctuary Restaurant, an exclusive dining venue featuring destination-inspired menus.
Guests staying in Sanctuary Suites will receive assistance from a dedicated suite concierge for dining reservations, entertainment and other onboard arrangements. Suite guests will also have access to a private Suite Lounge.
All Sanctuary Collection bookings made after the product goes on sale for each ship will include the Princess Premier package, which bundles unlimited premium beverages, specialty and casual dining, high-speed Wi-Fi, crew appreciation, complimentary room service and OceanNow delivery.
Additional perks include priority reservations, curated in-room amenities, tailored daily programming and dedicated service throughout the voyage.
Project Timeline
The rollout begins with Royal Princess, where Sanctuary Collection staterooms are available for booking starting with a 12-day South Pacific sailing departing January 4, 2027.
Guests who booked a Reserve Collection stateroom on Royal Princess before October 22, 2026, will automatically receive Sanctuary Collection benefits at no additional cost, except for the Princess Premier package.
Additional ships will open for bookings over the next two months:
- Regal Princess: November 5, 2026, beginning with an April 17, 2027, transatlantic voyage from Port Everglades.
- Discovery Princess: December 4, 2026, beginning with an April 24, 2027, seven-day Mexico sailing from Los Angeles.
- Sky Princess: December 10, 2026, beginning with a May 29, 2027, 14-day Baltic voyage from Southampton.
- Enchanted Princess: December 17, 2026, beginning with a June 12, 2027, seven-day Mediterranean voyage from Civitavecchia.
