RateHawk is introducing a portfolio of more than 400 car rental options in over 160 countries for U.S. and Canadian advisors to book through its B2B booking platform, which also includes hotels, flights and transfers.
In commemoration of the new offering, RateHawk is unveiling a Lucky Draw for North American agents.
“Partners who make and pay car rental bookings, either through the website or mobile app, will be automatically entered for a chance to win an Amazon gift card,” RateHawk said, adding that completed “bookings can be scheduled for any rental dates up to Aug.31, 2026,” with no destination restrictions.
The global car rental market is on track to more than double this year, propelled by strong demand for economy vehicles, which are expected to secure 32% of the market due to their affordability and efficiency, RateHawk said. North America leads the sector with a 40% market share, the company said.
Popular US road trip vacations, particularly in the summer months, include Florida, California and Nevada.
“The popularity of road trips can be attributed to lower costs and a general market trend of travelers being more budget-conscious,” said Fredrik Bonnalt, head of non-accommodation supply at Emerging Travel Group, RateHawk’s parent company.
“By optimizing travel budgets, road trips enable travelers to take more frequent, shorter breaks, such as long weekends, regional excursions, and visits to friends and family, making this approach more affordable than planning a single extended vacation, he added.
On the Europe front, demand is particularly robust countries such as Italy, Spain and Germany, “where car rentals remain an essential part of the travel experience,” said Ronald Fenska, RateHawk’s regional director of North America.
He noted that North American rentals typically range from seven to nine days, while international rentals average five to seven days.
The company’s portfolio of car rental offerings includes a wide range of types and classes, including electric cars.
“Filtering options help identify the most suitable car class based on clients’ needs, while a user-friendly interactive map makes it easy to find convenient pick-up locations,” RateHawk said.
