It will probably come as no surprise to adventure travelers and foodies that 71 percent of adventure travel itineraries have an experiential food focus. So said a new survey put out by the Adventure Travel Trade Association called the Taste of Adventure. The study also revealed that more than one-third of global tourism expenditures is spent on food and beverage products, and tourists are increasingly identifying local food and food experiences as their primary and secondary motivations for choosing specific destinations.
So, now that we all know that we like each other, let's plan on spending some more time together. Here are some tours that combine some of the best of adventure travel with off-the-charts culinary experiences.
