NOTE: The following comes from a Pleasant Holidays media release.
Throughout the progression of Hurricane Odile, Pleasant Holidays has been in close contact with our in-destination service providers, hotel partners and travel agents to ensure the safety of those in destination. Since the Mexican government initiated rescue flights Tuesday, all Los Cabos ground handlers have been working in concert to assist with the evacuation effort in Los Cabos and at airports in Mexico City, Mazatlan, Tijuana and Guadalajara. We continue to be in contact with them and our hotel partners, assisting travelers with accommodations and return flights home.
In addition, our customer service team has contacted travel agency partners with vacations scheduled to Los Cabos through Oct. 1, 2014 to provide assistance in altering their vacation plans as requested, either to future dates or a new destination in Mexico, the Caribbean, Hawaii or Tahiti. Pleasant Holidays is waiving its change fees for modifications due to Hurricane Odile.
Our website's home page includes a Travel Alerts link to a page where travelers and travel agents can find important updates and contact information for assistance.
Our air and land operations teams will continue to monitor the recovery process in Los Cabos, working with our airline and hotel partners to keep apprised of when they expect this amazingly beautiful beach destination to be fully operational again.
Pleasant Holidays' number one priority is the safety of our customers. We continue to monitor the national hurricane center reports in a proactive attempt to be prepared to advise and assist travelers and our travel agent partners when severe storms may impact vacations at any of the destinations we serve.
