One of the world's oldest travel companies, Cox & Kings, is continuing its expansion into the United States.
In addition to opening a new office in New York City, Cox & Kings recently increased its U.S. sales team by placing three new members strategically across the country. The team will work to bolster relationships within the travel agent and luxury travel adviser communities.
Company officials also plan to add staff to the New York office in 2018 and beyond.
New vice president of marketing Jared Alster will be leading the east coast development. Alster has 15 years of experience as a marketing executive, working for companies such as Intrepid Travel and founding his own startup, Stride Travel.
Another member of the Cox & Kings team moving to the New York City office is director of sales for the east, Yasmin Mana. Mana, who joined the company last year, oversees relationships with the travel professional community along the east coast.
The continued expansion into the U.S. builds on the more than 250 years Cox & Kings has been a luxury tour operator. The company began offering tours of India in 1758 and has continued to sell tailored group experiences to the world's most exotic destinations.
Cox & Kings also supports Tourism Cares and is a proud member of the new Family Travel Association.
