Trafalgar's new European river cruise itineraries, developed in partnership with sister brand Uniworld, offer travelers an intimate way to discover the continent's most iconic waterways aboard ships designed to feel like floating boutique hotels.
Two signature routes are available for the 2026 season. The Best of the Rhine and Amsterdam spans 10 days between Amsterdam and Basel, taking guests through eight destinations across four countries. Highlights include the iconic canals of Amsterdam, the grandeur of Cologne Cathedral and the medieval old town of Strasbourg, with prices starting from $3,599.

The Best of the Danube offers an eight-day journey between Budapest and Passau, visiting six locations across four countries. The itinerary features guided tours of Budapest's Heroes' Square and Bratislava's Old Town as well as a traditional Viennese Sachertorte tasting, starting from $2,799.
For travelers who want to experience Europe's famous Christmas markets, special seasonal sailings on both the Rhine and Danube are available during the festive season.
Both itineraries can be extended with carefully curated land add-ons. Rhine cruisers can tack on two nights in Lucerne, while Danube travelers have the option of two nights in Prague or additional time in Budapest.

Every sailing includes all meals onboard, regional wine, beer and soft drinks, and daily guided excursions, from walking tours of historic city centers to a Viennese Mozart walk. A dedicated Experience Director and Experience Manager accompany each journey, ensuring guests get the most out of every port of call.
All itineraries are built around Trafalgar's "Be My Guest" and "Make Travel Matter" philosophy, blending cultural immersion with the ease and comfort of a fully inclusive river cruise.
