Insight Vacations is now offering small-group,
women-only tours for travel in 2025. The eleven different tours span
destinations in Europe, the Americas, Africa, and India.
The new tours offer a maximum capacity of
twenty-four women with stays in handpicked hotels. All of the tours also
include at least one MAKE TRAVEL MATTER experience that focuses on women
impacting their local communities, whether owning and operating a local
business or preserving local traditions.
Travelers can enjoy eight percent off these new
trips when they book now through May 31, 2024.
New data from a joint survey with JourneyWoman
found that 65 percent of the 1,000+ women travelers surveyed look for tour
companies that offer solo trips or women-only tours, and 43 percent feel that
the travel industry undervalues solo female travelers and older female
travelers.
Additionally, the data found that 73 percent of
women sought recommendations and travel advice from other women before
traveling solo. Insight Vacations has launched a new Facebook travel group,
"Insight Vacations Women-Only Travel Community," where female
travelers can get tips, travel expertise, and other guidance.
Tours include the Country Roads of Italy Tour,
which includes a stop at the women-run weaving association in Perugia, which is
dedicated to keeping their local weaving traditions alive, and the Best of
Morocco Tour, which includes a baking class at a local women's cooperative that
encourages women to become professional chefs.
Closer to home is the Country Roads of the Deep
South Tour, where women will learn about critical women's civil rights figures,
such as Frances Wright, Ida B. Wells and the Lee Sisters.
