Roam by Tauck Opens Bookings for 2027 Itineraries

Tauck has officially opened bookings for it 2027 portfolio of journeys.

Seven new itineraries will join Tauck’s global collection of 12 journeys designed for travelers in their 40s and 50s. Small groups average 16 guests, featuring exclusive access through Tauck’s global network, paired with a balance of guided experiences and free time.  

New 2027 journeys include:

  • Tokyo, Kyoto & the Seto Inland Sea- 10-day land journey through Japan from cityscapes to its inland coast. Experiences include a private visit to Kiyomizu-dera with a Buddhist monk, cycling across the islands of the Seto Inland Sea, and a traditional omakase dinner. Stays include the Four Seasons Tokyo Otemachi, Azumi Setoda and the Ritz-Carlton Kyoto. (From $12,990 USD pp double-occupancy, plus airfare).
  • New Zealand: North & South- 12-day land journey showcasing the country’s most iconic landscapes, from rugged coastlines to alpine peaks. Experiences include a jet boat through the Shotover canyons and helicopter flight over Queenstown, a Milford Sound cruise, and a boutique vineyard experience in Marlborough with guests stays at Auckland’s Hotel Britomart, Furneaux Lodge in the Marlborough Sounds, Coronet Ridge Resort, and Huka Lodge in Taupo.   • South Africa & Mozambique- 10-day land journey from Cape Town and surrounding wine country to a private safari reserve and remote beaches of the Indian Ocean. Experiences include Cape Town’s vibrant waterfront and Chapman’s Peak scenic landscape, a guided climb up Lion’s Head for sweeping golden hour views, and game drives in a private reserve. Stays include One & Only Cape Town, Marataba Safari Lodge in Marakele National Park, and Beyond Benguerra Island within the Bazaruto Archipelago in Mozambique.   • Bern & the Matterhorn- 7-day land journey blending Swiss heritage, culinary traditions and alpine adventure. Experiences include a behind-the-scenes visit inside Bern’s Zytglogge clock tower, an e-bike ride through the Emmental countryside, a vineyard visit and cheesemaking, and an ascent to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Stays include the historic Bellevue Palace in Bern and BEAUSiTE Zermatt with Matterhorn views. (From $9,290 USD pp double-occupancy, plus airfare).
  • Florence & the Tuscan Hills- 7-days through celebrating Italy’s Tuscan life—from the artistry of Florence to the beauty of its rolling hills and villages. Experiences include private access to the Baptistery of San Giovanni's mosaics under restoration, a vintage Fiat 500 drive through Tuscany, and a truffle hunting hills experience. Stays include the W Florence and three nights at Borgo San Felice, a restored medieval estate surrounded by vineyards in the Chianti hills. (From $7,990 USD pp double-occupancy, plus airfare).
  • Rome, Sicily & Malta- 12-day small ship cruise journey blending Italy’s cultural treasures with Mediterranean exploration. Experiences include exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to a recently uncovered area of Pompeii, private evening at Palermo’s Palazzo Francavilla, Mount Etna excursion, and boat tour through the Aeolian Islands with a lunch stop in Salina. Stays include the Pantheon Iconic Hotel Rome, followed by 10 nights aboard the Windstar Star Legend, calling at Lipari, Palermo, Trapani, Agrigento, Valletta, Siracusa, and Taormina.   • Golden Gate & Wine Country- 6-day Northern California land journey beginning in scenic Sausalito to the relaxed elegance of Napa and Sonoma. Experiences include a guided tasting tour through San Francisco’s Ferry Building marketplace, private Napa wine tasting, bioluminescent kayaking on Tomales Bay and farewell dinner at Cakebread Cellars in St. Helena. Stays include The Lodge at Cavallo Point in Sausalito and Carneros Resort and Spa in Napa Valley. (From $7,490 USD pp double-occupancy, plus airfare).
