Escapes, has announced the expansion of its global portfolio with a
collection of accessible villas.
The company says that the new collection makes it easier for
travelers requiring accessible
accommodations including wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. A range of accessibility featured include:
- Step-free entrances and wide doorways
- Ground-floor living and bedrooms
- Ramps, elevators, and roll-in showers
- Spacious open layouts for ease of mobility
- Dedicated on-site staff and support upon request
“Every guest deserves a seamless, stress-free vacation and
this collection was developed to deliver that,” said Brian Schwimmer, chief
executive officer and co-founder of Rental Escapes in a statement. “By
expanding access to purposefully designed spaces in top destinations, we’re
helping more guests travel comfortably and confidently.”
Ana Flamands- Flamands, St. Barts
This five-bedroom, five-bathroom villa ideal for
multi-generational families or groups of friends, sits directly on the sands of
Flamands Beach offering stunning views of the Caribbean Sea.
The residence which can accommodate 10 guests, features
bedrooms with queen-size beds, en-suite bathrooms, and private terraces,
including a small pool on one terrace for added serenity. The interior
showcases contemporary Caribbean design with natural light flooding the open
living spaces, complemented by a fully equipped kitchen, stylish dining area,
and a bar opening to the terrace.
Outdoor amenities include a heated pool, sun loungers, and a
dining area, all framed by lush gardens and swaying palms. The villa includes a
dedicated staff of housekeepers and pool maintenance, with additional staff
such as a private chef, butler, or driver available upon request.
Villa des Parcs- Saint-Tropez, France
The estate combines privacy, elegance and stunning ocean
views with seven-bedrooms and six-bathroom spanning 5,000 square meters of landscaped
gardens and featuring a large, heated pool with easy entry options for guests
with limited mobility and steps from the villa’s private beach. Designed with
spacious layouts, wide doorways, and accessible pathways, the villa ensures
that travelers can move comfortably and enjoy all amenities. For activity
seekers, the community includes a tennis facility. The villa is fully staffed
with a private chef, butler, housekeepers, and a pool maintenance professional.
Cazador Lodge- Steamboat Springs, Colorado
This mountain-modern luxury villa with stunning views of the
Yampa Valley features five-bedrooms, including a private primary suite with
vaulted ceilings, a walk-in closet, and an ensuite with a freestanding tub. The
great room boasts a floor-to-ceiling metal fireplace and opens to the outdoors,
while the lower level includes a family room, game area, and a walk-out patio
with a sunken hot tub.
Designed with accessibility in mind, the villa offers
spacious layouts and easy transitions between levels, making it comfortable for
guests with limited mobility. Additional amenities include a two-car garage and
complimentary use of the Ski Butlers shuttle (mid-November through mid-April)
for easy resort access.
While the villas listed as accessible don’t currently
provide accessibility information online, the brand has stated new information
will be added in the coming weeks.
