In late January, AmaWaterways had a busy but productive week in New York.

It all began with the 2018 Travvy Awards, which took place in Gotham Hall on Wednesday, January 24. AmaWaterways dominated the night, winning five gold awards.
AmaWaterways won Best River Cruise Line Overall; Best River Cruise: Europe, Asia and Africa as well as the AmaKristina winning Best River Cruise Ship.
A positive sign for the river cruise company and a further indication 2018 will be a strong year.
The week continued for AmaWaterways by meeting with the media and travel agents, as well as celebrating the launch of Samantha Brown's new PBS series "Places to Love".
AmaWaterways is a sponsor for the new television series and will be hosting Samantha Brown and her crew on the Rhine and Moselle Delights cruise to film several new episodes of Season 2. Become a guest on the cruise and who knows, you may end up on TV!
Meetings with the media and travel agents at the New York Times Travel Show were a big hit. Small ship cruising is becoming more popular, and there is a huge desire for personalization and luxury when it comes to travel experiences.
Travel is trending toward wellness, food and wine as well as family vacations. These are all areas that AmaWaterways really excel at.
