Several companies had a successful night at the 2018 Travvy Awards, but few brands walked away with as many gold statuettes as luxury river cruise line AmaWaterways.
In total, AmaWaterways earned gold Travvy Awards in four Best River Cruise Line categories, including overall, Africa/Egypt, Asia and Europe. In addition, AmaWaterways’ AmaKristina ship won the gold Travvy for Best Cruise Ship - River Cruise.
AmaWaterways co-owners Rudi Schreiner and Kristin Karst were on hand to receive the Travvy Awards during the annual gala held on January 24 in New York City.
“I can’t think of a better way to start off the year than by receiving such important recognition from the travel professionals who know us best and have contributed enormously to our success,” Karst said in a statement. “It means so much to the entire AmaWaterways team to receive the top awards in all five categories.”
“On a personal note, as godmother of the AmaKristina, I am very proud to have my namesake ship voted the Best River Cruise Ship 2018,” Karst continued.
