Cruise your way around the world and discover mysterious sites only a few people have ever seen.

Crystal Cruises has a variety of itineraries that include stops at some of the most unique destinations in the globe.

Sail aboard the Crystal Symphony, Crystal Serenity, Crystal Esprit to any of these three places for a truly unforgettable getaway.

The "Lost" City of Petra

While it's not lost anymore, this complex Jordanian city remained hidden from the western world for hundreds of years. It was discovered by European explorers in the 19th-century.

However, only 15 percent of Petra's stunning architecture has been uncovered, so there is still much to explore. Built into red, white and pink sandstone cliffs around 400 B.C., it was taken over by the Romans in 106 A.D. and eventually fell into decay and was buried by earthquakes.

The Minoans

From around 3000 B.C. to 1100 B.C., the Minoans paved the way for what we all now call ancient Greece. Visit Crete and Santorini to walk the path of the Minoans.

Much of the Minoans way of life and how they disappeared still remains a mystery though. But it is clear they were here and had an established civilization with sophisticated architecture and elaborate paintings on walls all over their lost city.

The Great Pyramid of Giza

A constant wonder by many of the world is how the Great Pyramid of Giza was built, as well as why it was built in such a unique shape. Additionally, the accuracy of the engineering has marveled many archaeologists and world experts. It is perfectly designed to align with the cardinal points of north, south, east and west, with a slightly lopsided pinnacle.

The Great Pyramid of Giza is an astonishing but mysterious site you need to see in person to truly appreciate its beauty. Explore this region on Crystal Esprit Holy Land sailings in 2019 and 2020.
