Take a Trip to Huatulco

Cancun and Riviera Maya are home to long white sand beaches. Puerto Vallarta boasts beautiful churches and cobblestone streets. Some of the best nightlife is found in Cabo San Lucas.
All of these places are wonderful vacation spots, but one place that isn’t mentioned as much as it should be is Huatulco.
The town of Huatulco is located in Oaxaca and has numerous bays. Santa Cruz Bay is a popular stop for cruise ships. Many cruisers will head into port and find quaint little beaches or explore shops and restaurants in the area for the day.
However, Huatulco can be a great spot for an extended vacation as well. There are nice all-inclusive resorts scattered along the shores—Secrets, Dreams and Barcelo to name a few. Most of the resorts are oceanfront and have beautiful beach areas and pools to enjoy.
Enjoy gourmet meals, endless drinks and long days filled with sun and lounging. Maybe even find time to visit the spa for a massage or pedicure.
There are several things to do outside of the resort during a visit to Huatulco as well. Visitors can choose from city tours, bay tours and even canopy tours—if being hooked up to a zip line isn’t too frightening.
Sticking on the adventurous side, ATV tours and white-water rafting are also available in this area.
Whether it’s kicking back in a lounge chair, enjoying a leisurely stroll through downtown or ziplining through trees, Huatulco is a place for everyone to find memories to make.
