About LATAM Airlines Group
One of the major international and domestic airlines in Latin America, LATAM Airlines Group is the new name for the recently merged LAN Airlines S.A. and TAM S.A. LATAM Airlines Group operates flights to about 150 destinations in 22 countries.
The two carriers continue to operate under their brands with Santiago, Chile-based LAN Airlines serving Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Colombia, among other Latin American countries and the Caribbean, as well as the U.S., Canada, Europe and the South Pacific. Its passenger hubs are Lima and Santiago. Through codeshares, LAN offers service to 25 additional destinations in North America, 16 in Europe, 25 in Latin America and the Caribbean (including Mexico) and two in Asia. LAN has bilateral commercial agreements with oneworld partners American Airlines, British Airways, Iberia and Qantas, as well as with Alaska Airlines, AeroMexico, Mexicana and Korean Air.
Sao Paulo-based TAM Airlines operates hubs in Rio, Sao Paulo and Brasilia serving cities throughout Brazil and the Americas.
