If you thought Excellence Punta Cana couldn't get any better, it has. After undergoing renovations, the resort is ready to reopen on November 1, 2017. Funjet Vacations shares a glimpse of what went on during the revamp.
As for the ambiance, it is out with the classy tropical vibe and in with the sleek Caribbean look. All the suites have a brand new look, and 20 of them now boast private pools.
The Excellence Club Experience was already one not to miss, and now it's even better. In addition to the private beach area and concierge service, the area now has two pools and an exclusive restaurant.
There have also been a few culinary upgrades (as if this aspect of the resort could have gotten any better). Aroma, a new coffee shop on property, is equipped with all the coffee you'll need. You can find your pastries and sandwiches here too.
Later in the day for lunch or dinner, be sure to check out the chic steakhouse and new sports bar on property.
