Two things can make or break luxury resort in my eyes.
Of course, we all know that the term luxury travel is quite subjective.
It’s in the eye of the beholder, right?
Well, for me, these two small but simple things can truly ruin a resort that’s labeling itself as luxury if they’re not up to standards.
And they both start with the letter T.
Have you guessed it yet?
I’m talking about the towels and toilet paper.
Everyone loves to hype up the bedsheets or talk about the mattress or even the various amenities offered.
However, the reality is that if the towels and or the toilet paper aren’t good, a resort really isn’t all that luxury.
Luxury travel is all about top-notch quality, high-end touches, personalized and exclusive experiences, etc. etc.
More often than not, travelers are using one or both of these things to start the day.
If the towels are scratchy or the toilet paper is rough, the idea of luxury is over.
