Guests can now purchase luxury items found at Thompson Hotels properties, courtesy of a new online store by partner retailer Parker & Morgan.
The online store features many of the major luxury leaders found at Thompson Hotels properties, including Sferra, Tokyo Milk, Calma E Gesso, and Kiki De Montparnasse. It also offers the full Parker & Morgan "pillow library," which matches guests' sleeping styles with the best pillow options for them.
"Thompson Hotels is known for distinctive design and the decor elements at its properties," said Parker & Morgan CEO Peter Whitford, via a release. "This is the first opportunity for guests to bring the on-property experience and inspiration home."
This is nothing new for Parker & Morgan. It also presents another opportunity for hotels to cash in via new means. The Pasadena-based company partners with a variety of five-star, luxury boutique and small luxury groups, creating exclusive online stores for their guests to shop. Each e-store is designed to reflect the exact sleep experience of each hotel, from the mattresses in the rooms to bed linens, duvets, towels, robes, slippers, and even amenities. The retailer will also expand the selection, offering gifts and decor that match guests' stays at particular hotels. Thompson Hotels is the latest partner to sign up for an online store with Parker & Morgan.
Thompson Hotels, courtesy of parent company Commune Hotels & Resorts, currently consists of seven boutique lifestyle hotels in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Toronto, and London, with new properties opening in Mexico hotspots Los Cabos and Playa del Carmen this year.
