Carlisle Travel Management relaunched its website as part of a broader strategy to assist its luxury advisors in conducting business in an increasingly complex travel world.
“The previous site served its purpose, but it didn’t fully reflect how Carlisle operates today or where we’re going,” said Jerry Saxe, president of Carlisle Travel, which serves as a luxury hybrid travel agency and host agency, and is a branch of Tzell Travel Group and a member of Travel Leaders Network.
“The new Carlisle Travel website is much more aligned with how travel is actually being planned now. It puts more emphasis on our advisors, the type of work they do and the role Carlisle plays in supporting them behind the scenes,” he added.
The company has added destination and itinerary hubs to the website, in addition to an enhanced travel advisor directory with filters that help travelers find the advisor best suited to their needs, dedicated recruiting pages and more detailed forms that make it easier to begin planning their next trip, Saxe said.
“The website makes it easier for advisors to understand Carlisle’s offerings and the support we provide to our advisors, while also helping travelers find the right advisor through our proprietary search filters by destination, specialty or general advisor location,” Saxe said. “We also made a conscious effort to highlight advisor expertise. In today’s environment, clients are looking for trust and specialization, not just access.”
Carlisle Travel also expanded its blog to highlight current travel trends and share accounts of its advisors’ travel experiences.
“Our goal is to give travelers valuable insight they can learn from while also showing the expertise, perspective and added value our advisors bring to the trip-planning process,” Saxe said.
Beyond the relaunched website, Carlise Travel is also focusing on “strengthening the foundation behind the advisor” with deeper supplier relationships, more consistent operational support and making sure advisors aren’t navigating increasing complexity on their own,” he said.
“There’s a shift happening in the industry, advisors are running more sophisticated businesses, and the expectation from a host agency has to rise with that,” Saxe added.
Carlisle advisors are veteran agents who focus on long-term relationships with their customers while delivering a high level of service, Saxe said.
“A large portion of our advisors handle more customized and complex itineraries, where trips require a higher level of coordination and attention to detail,” he added. “More than anything, it comes down to mindset: Advisors who treat this as a serious business and value having a strong, stable platform behind them.”
