North America's premier travel trade and consumer convention will return for its 15th year in 2018.
The New York Times announced Thursday that the 2018 New York Times Travel Show will take place January 26-28, 2018 inside New York City's Jacob K. Javits Center.
The 2018 iteration will kick off with a trade day open solely to travel industry professionals and writers. The general public will be invited to attend beginning Friday, Jan. 26 and through the weekend.
Tickets for the 2018 Travel Show will be made available this coming fall.
The New York Times said it plans to announce speakers, performers, conference sessions and other presentations that will take place in the coming months.
The New York Times Travel Show is coming off a record year in 2017 in which it hosted more than 30,000 people, including more than 20,800 consumers. Altogether, survey results show that consumer travelers in attendance estimated that they would spend more than $100 million in travel trips in the 12 months that followed.
More than 4,500 travel agents also attended the 2017 show. According to travel show survey results, the estimated volume of travel business represented by the attending agents was a record $3 billion.

The record 560 exhibitors that participated in the 2017 show estimated that they generated additional consumer traveler sales of about $6 million on-site or shortly thereafter, based on survey results.
More than 1,000 media members from the U.S. and abroad were also on hand for last year's event.
