Travel Agent Success, Inc. (TASI) expanded its training and educational offerings with the addition of the Apprentice membership program, which places a strong emphasis on networking and collaboration to help agents enhance their business models.
"In this ever-changing business we can't know everything, but by sharing with one another we can become better business people and travel professionals," said Penney Rudicil, president of TASI.
The Apprentice program offers agents a wide range of workshops, forums, Webinars, and study groups designed to help them improve both the technical and practical aspects of their businesses.
Gadget Girl Q&As, featuring technology-related content similar to Rudicil's columns in travAlliancemedia's Agent@Home magazine, are also available on the Apprentice website.
A Forms Sharing area of the site provides an apt illustration of the collaborative nature of the Apprentice program. "We all need credit card authorization forms, insurance waiver forms, registration forms, and client qualifying forms," said Rudicil. "Why not collaborate together and come up with forms that work for a peer's agency?"
Similarly, a Fam Sharing section of the site enables agents to learn from their peers' experiences. "We can't be everywhere and see everything, but to sell a product with confidence an agent needs first-hand knowledge," Rudicil said. "The Fam Sharing area lets agents share where they been and what they've seen with their colleagues."
The site's Solution Center, meanwhile, is designed to provide agents with practical information on branding, marketing, social media, and time management.
Apprentice enrollees can also take advantage of TASI's existing Tech Tip Tuesday Webinars, calendar of events, a list of business tools to help agents more effectively manage their businesses and newsletter. They will also receive a second newsletter that is specifically to the Apprentice program.
Cost to participate in the program is $129 a year. For a limited time agents can sign on for $99.
