An affordable summer vacation is in reach, thanks to American Airlines’ latest award sale. The carrier has just released 1 million main cabin seats on domestic flights, bookable through its AAdvantage loyalty program for as little as 5,000 miles one way. Transatlantic flights are also redeemable for as low as 15,000 miles one way.
The sale is valid for travel anytime in August and September, and it offers travelers plenty of flexibility with no blackout dates. The only restriction is that flights to Hawaii and Alaska are excluded from the domestic deals.
Eligible domestic destinations include Chicago, Las Vegas, New York, Los Angeles, Denver, Miami, and Orlando, Florida, from 5,000 miles one way. International destinations include London for 15,000 miles one way, as well as Rome, Paris, Athens, and Barcelona for 20,000 miles one way.
