Four of the leading travel content platforms have announced their participation in a New Distribution Capability (NDC) initiative.
Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC), Navan, Travelfusion, and SAP Concur are now participating in NDC FastTrack, which is a cross-industry initiative supported by Accelya that focuses on streamlining operational and technical challenges when scaling NDCs.
The announcement comes as NDC adoption continues to rapidly expand across the industry. NDC transactions accounted for 21.2% of total ARC-settled transactions in December 2025, which is a rate higher than 1 in 5 bookings.
Additionally, data from Accelya shows corporate NDC bookings jumped by 168% year over year in the fourth quarter of 2025.
“NDC is now firmly established as an essential component of agency booking activity,” said Shelly Younger, head of offers and settlement at ARC. “As adoption continues to expand, the focus is shifting to ensuring the supporting infrastructure keeps pace.”
NDC FastTrack will provide a platform where travel sellers, airline retailers, technology providers, and partners can connect and solve issues like technical problems and workflow gaps in order to continue scaling NDC content.
“Scaling NDC across multiple platforms requires technical precision and interoperability. Fragmentation creates friction, especially when volumes increase,” said Eytan Bicaci Baruh, vice president commercial, Travelfusion. “The industry’s focus now is on ensuring systems communicate cleanly and workflows remain stable under production conditions. That’s what enables sustainable growth in NDC distribution.”
Numerous industry heavy-hitters already participate in NDC FastTrack, including American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT), BCD Travel, CTM, FCM Travel, Fox World Travel, Sabre, Amadeus, and Travelport.
Recent topics of discussion on the platform have included anchored search and EMD exchange, both areas that allow improved consistency in NDC shopping results and make post-booking ancillary transactions more reliable.
An in-person working session is being scheduled in Miami this May to give participants the chance to continue their technical discussions face to face.
