Regional Airport in New Hampshire has always been a fantastic alternative to
the hustle and bustle of Logan Airport and the crowds in Boston. A true breeze
if you will.
Now, the
airport has Breeze.
Manchester-Boston
Regional Airport has enticed budget carrier Breeze Airways to join the rotation
of flights emanating from the facility. The airline
began service last week with flights to Florida and Charleston, South
Carolina.
Flights to Orlando, Fla. will be on Mondays and Fridays, and service
to Charleston is seasonal on Mondays and Fridays.
"Manchester-Boston
is more than just an airport. It is a massive economic driver for the Queen
City and our state, hosting over 2,000 jobs. Manchester provides some 23
convenient daily departures, connecting over 1.7 million yearly passengers to
over 220 destinations around the world," said Manchester Mayor Jay Ruais.
Breeze will
also begin seasonal service to Florida city Fort Myers and Tampa in October. It
is the first new airline to join the fleet at Manchester-Boston
Regional this year.
The format
follows the airline’s
mantra to fly from smaller, secondary airports.
