This winter, Nevis invites travelers to do more than warm up. Beyond its uncrowded beaches, natural hot springs, and intimate inns, the island offers opportunities to connect with its people and traditions: shaping a clay pot with Nevisian artisans, harvesting ingredients for a farm-cooked Caribbean lunch, or joining the jury as the legacies of Alexander Hamilton and Admiral Horatio Nelson are examined in the Court of History. Each experience reveals a warmer side of winter, rooted in discovery and connection.
Nevis offers a distinctive expression of barefoot luxury: exceptional comfort, uncrowded shores, and a deeply personal connection to the island,” said Andia Ravariere, CEO of the Nevis Tourism Authority. “Here, you can learn pottery traditions from Newcastle’s master artisans, harvest and cook with Ras Iroy on his farm, or help weigh Alexander Hamilton’s legacy on the island where his story began. These experiences are unmistakably Nevis, shaped by our people and our history. ‘A Warmer Side to Winter’ brings that promise to life, inviting travelers to slow down, explore, and discover the richness of a small island with an extraordinary story.”
Make Something Worth Bringing Home

With From Clay to Cuisine, a multi-day experience from Nevis Sun Tours, travelers explore two island traditions through the people who keep them alive.
The experience begins at Newcastle, where master potters guide guests in crafting a traditional Nevisian clay cooking pot. While the piece is cured and fired, visitors continue exploring the island. A separate visit to Ras Iroy’s farm brings the experience from earth to table: guests harvest fresh ingredients and prepare Ital cuisine over an open fire using traditional clay pots. Before departing Nevis, they collect their own finished pot—a handmade reminder of the island.
Put History on Trial
This winter, history becomes a matter for the jury in The Trial of Hamilton and Nelson, an original courtroom drama examining the legacies of two influential figures connected to Nevis.
Through historical evidence and competing arguments, the production invites audiences to consider questions of leadership, empire, morality, and legacy—and cast their votes as the jury.
Seasonal performances include the Christmas Session of the Court on December 18, 2026, the Hamilton Birthday Sitting on January 11, 2027, and the Hamilton Heritage Sitting on January 23, 2027.
Celebrate the Season at Four Seasons Resort Nevis
Along Pinney’s Beach, Four Seasons Resort Nevis brings together festive dining, family traditions, and new settings for relaxation. Seasonal highlights range from Christmas celebrations and gingerbread workshops to the Santa Fiesta and a New Year’s Eve countdown beneath the stars.
