Cathay Pacific will resume non-stop flights between Seattle and Hong Kong this spring as part of the airline’s efforts to strengthen it’s North American presence.
The carrier announced today that the flight route would be available as of March 30, 2026, increasing Cathay Pacific’s number of North American locations to nine.
“We are excited to resume direct passenger flights to Seattle, reinforcing our goal to deepen business and cultural ties between Hong Kong and a dynamic tech hub in the United States,” Cathay Chief Customer and Commercial Officer Lavinia Lau said in a statement.
“This route not only provides greater convenience for our customers, but also supports the growing demand for connectivity between Asia and North America, particularly among travelers from the Chinese Mainland and India,” added Lau.
The Hong Kong-Seattle route will be operated five times weekly and will be flown by Cathay Pacific’s Airbus A350-900 aircraft, a plane that offers fully flat beds in Business, along with Premium Economy and Economy cabins.
To celebrate its ninth passenger route in North America, Cathay Pacific is offering special fares starting from $691 from September 22 to October 22, 2025. The special fares are available across Business, Premium Economy and Economy class tickets for departures between March 30 and May 24, 2026, and from August 15 to December 7, 2026.
In April, Cathay Pacific debuted direct passenger flights between Hong Kong and Dallas-Fort Worth. Beginning October 26, 2025, the Dallas-Fort Worth route will operate on a daily basis, up from the current four return flights per week.
Meanwhile, Cathay Pacific’s North America summer schedule for 2026 includes more than 110 return flights per week to such locations as Boston, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver.
