The airport experience across the United States has been even more stressful than usual lately, thanks to hours-long TSA lines amid the partial government shutdown.
But one new terminal set to open this summer promises to remove that type of tension from the airport arrival process, while also adding a healthy dose of luxury.
In June 2026, Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is getting a glamorous new private terminal, complete with private TSA and Customs lines.
The new 12,200-square-foot building is by PS (formerly called Private Suite), a company that specializes in operating private terminals. Inside the DFW facility, there will be two options for travelers to beat the crowds of the regular public terminals.
The more rarefied of the two areas will be the Private Suite, which comes with completely private TSA and Customs checkpoints, as well as a personal lounge with cocktails and chef-prepared meals. When it’s time to board, a private chauffeur takes travelers to their plane. Passengers who have a PS membership can also book shower areas and spa treatments.
The second option, called The Salon, offers similar perks in a shared setting, with semi-private TSA and Customs areas, along with a lounge area with cocktails and snacks that’s open to a limited number of other travelers who have paid for the service.
Both spaces will feature sumptuous interior design, with renderings showing elements like marble floors, sleek light fixtures, and modern furniture.
Dallas-Fort Worth is the second busiest airport in the U.S., so opting for a private terminal could help travelers avoid the bustle of DFW’s other sweeping buildings.
But the private terminal’s peace of mind and streamlined services don’t come cheap. Booking the Private Suite costs $4,950 for up to 4 travelers, and buying access to The Salon will set you back $1,295 per person. Those booking rates drop slightly if you spring for one of PS’s annual memberships.
PS's private terminal at DFW is scheduled to open June 3, 2026, next to the Corporate Aviation on the airport’s grounds. It will be PS’s third private terminal in the US. The company has operated its swanky private terminals at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) since 2017 and at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) since 2023.
A fourth location is set to debut on June 30, 2026, at Miami International Airport (MIA).
Reservations are now open for both the DFW and MIA private terminals and can be booked at reserveps.com.
