Eva Air launched new service from Washington Dulles to the Taoyuan International Airport in Taiwan, which increases connectivity options for North Americans traveling to Thailand.
The new service reduces travel time between the two cities to approximately 15 to 16 hours while increasing connectivity between the U.S. and Thailand by offering more seamless connections to Bangkok and other destinations in the country, the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s New York office said.
The carrier offers multiple nonstop daily flights from Taiwan to Bangkok and Chiang Mai, as well as connecting flights through partner airlines.
Eva Air’s service out of Washington Dulles will offer four weekly flights from Washington to Taiwan on Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
“Improved air connectivity plays an important role in making Thailand more accessible to travelers from North America,” said Chompu Marusachot, director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s New York office.
“We are delighted to see additional travel options from the Washington, D.C. region and look forward to welcoming even more visitors to discover Thailand’s rich cultural heritage, breathtaking natural beauty and meaningful travel experiences across the Kingdom.”
