Frontier Airlines is expanding its international network
with the carrier’s first-ever service to South America, announcing new nonstop
flights from Orlando International Airport to three destinations in Colombia.
The airline will begin daily service to Medellín on December
10, with introductory fares starting at $169 one way. Service to Bogota will
begin December 14, with fares starting at $99.
The Bogota route will initially operate six times per week
before increasing to daily service on March 6, 2027.
Frontier will also launch service to Cartagena on December
19. The route will operate once weekly, with introductory fares starting at
$129. The new services are subject to government approval.
The expansion marks Frontier’s first entry into Colombia and
its first-ever service to South America. To celebrate, the carrier is offering
promotional fares beginning at $99.
The sale runs through September 16, while promotional travel
is valid from January 14 through April 5, 2027, with blackout dates from March
23-30.
