Frontier Airlines announced that it has resumed codesharing with Mexico-based airline Volaris.
As of May 8, Frontier customers can book between the United States and Mexico through the codeshare on any flight departing on or after May 16, 2024.
Reservations can be either be done on FlyFrontier.com or the FlyFrontier mobile app starting on May 9
"We are thrilled to resume codesharing with Volaris, which will provide Frontier customers the ability to easily and conveniently book travel to a huge array of exciting destinations in Mexico," Frontier Airlines CEO Barry Biffle said.
"Volaris is an excellent, well-established air carrier that has been in operation for nearly 20 years and, like Frontier, is focused on providing convenient, affordable, and friendly air travel," Biffle Continued.
Tons of New Options To Arise
Vollaris has about 460 daily flight segments, which connect 44 cities in Mexico and 29 cities in the U.S. as well as Central and South America.
The new codeshare will allow travelers to have easy access to Volaris's itinerary of flights, which includes popular destinations such as Mexico City, Cancún, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Huatulco, Acapulco, Guadalajara, Monterrey, and Tijuana, among many others.
