JetBlue is expanding its network in Upstate New York with the launch of new flights from the Finger Lakes area to Central Florida.
The budget carrier just announced a new route between Rochester, New York, and Orlando, Florida that will launch on March 26, 2026, at the tail end of the spring break vacation season.
“JetBlue is proud to grow in Rochester, bringing our low fares and award-winning customer experience to more travelers,” said Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president, network planning and airline partnerships. “Orlando is one of the most popular destinations for Upstate New Yorkers, and this new route gives customers an easy way to get to the sunshine, theme parks, and all the attractions Central Florida has to offer.”
Flights on the new route will operate five times per week on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays between Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) and Orlando International Airport (MCO). When the new flights launch, it will mark JetBlue’s eighth route between New York state and Orlando.
The airline will use its Airbus A320 aircraft to operate the nearly three-hour flight. Those jets don’t offer JetBlue’s Mint business class, but they do have its EvenMore cabin product at the front of the plane, which offers travelers extra legroom, guaranteed overhead bin space, complimentary alcoholic drinks, and early boarding.
Fares are now on sale, with introductory ticket prices as low as $49 one way. To score that ultra-affordable fare, travelers must book their ticket by November 16 for travel dates between March 26 and May 20, 2026. Be aware that blackout dates apply to the fare deal.
JetBlue has been significantly expanding its air lift to Florida, with several new routes and additional flight frequencies that launched from Orlando and Fort Lauderdale, with new service continuing to debut in 2026.
Earlier this month, the carrier just announced new service from New York JFK and Boston (BOS) to Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) in the Florida panhandle. In December, the carrier will also begin new service from JFK and BOS to Florida’s Daytona Beach (DAB) and Vero Beach (VRB).
