It's never a good idea to bring a weapon through TSA.
According to The Associated Press, an unidentified passenger was traveling through Orlando International Airport when a Transportation Security Administration officer discovered a Ruger handgun and a separate magazine loaded with 10 rounds of .22-caliber ammunition in the man's bag.
TSA spokeswoman Sari Koshetz told The AP the handgun was the 91st weapon intercepted by officers at Orlando's airport this year.
As a result of the discovery, the security checkpoint experienced a long delay Tuesday morning.
Orlando police spokeswoman Michelle Guido revealed the passenger had a valid Florida concealed weapons license, but he was arrested for violating a federal law and charged with carrying a concealed firearm in a place prohibited by law.
Earlier in December, a Colorado state representative was arrested when she brought a loaded gun to Denver International Airport.
