If you want to travel for Thanksgiving this year, you still
can. You just have to know where to look.

Although the peak time, or the Goldilocks Window as Going
calls it, of booking a ticket three to seven months prior to your departure has
obviously long passed, there are still deals to be had. Domestic airfares are
down about 13 percent compared to Thanksgiving of 2022.
In some ways, that is attributable to a softening demand and
the airlines adding more capacity. But whatever the reasons are, you can still
take advantage.
Just as long as you book within the next couple of weeks.
Going found great round trip deals, for instance, from New
York to Orlando for $138, Seattle to Boston for $228, and Houston to Atlanta
for $238. The deals could also be affected, in a good way, by the falling
economy and the beginning of student loan repayments.
Internationally, remember that Thanksgiving is very much an
American holiday. It might be an excellent time to travel to Europe. In fact,
Going found flights from Boston to Scotland for $291, Baltimore to Rome for
$364, and Denver to Copenhagen for $484.
